I'm a freelance digital illustrator, designer and art director.
After studying Digital Design at Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín, I worked as a UI/UX designer — both in agencies, including STRV, and independently. Along the way I contributed to a wide range of digital products for clients such as Microsoft and two of the most prominent LGBTQ+ dating apps, Zoe and Surge.
Over time my work shifted naturally from interface design toward illustration, visual storytelling and art direction. I love building projects from the very start — shaping their visual language, atmosphere and personality, and carrying them all the way to final, development-ready output.
Since 2021 I've been creating the visual world of educational products for the American platform Badass Courses, designing original illustration systems that turn technical courses into places where learning is a joy.
What I enjoy most is watching a product evolve. I like to stay part of it well past the first design phase, growing its visual identity and helping it mature. Curiosity, experimentation and the constant discovery of new artistic approaches are at the heart of my work. I believe the best digital products aren't just functional — they carry an atmosphere people remember.
Right now I'm working on the biggest and most beautiful project of my life: raising my son Eduard. Motherhood has given me a new perspective on creativity, patience, and on making things that hold real, lasting value.
I'm a freelance digital illustrator and designer. Since 2021 I've shaped the visual worlds of online developer-education products for Badass Courses (USA) — hand-crafted illustration systems that turn technical courses into places people love to be. Previously I led a design team at STRV.

Colt SteeleBlack Box is a hand-made book about the universe, the solar system and the fundamentals of astrophysics — an experiment on the border between traditional bookmaking and the then-emerging digital technologies, built to join the physical experience of a book with the possibilities of an interactive medium. Its visual language draws on utilitarian sci-fi design, technical schematics and infographics that turn complex scientific subjects into something legible and visually striking. The whole book was made by hand and silkscreen-printed, with the emphasis on material, structure and the tactility of the object — a deliberate counterpoint, in 2011, to the headlong rush of digital technology, foregrounding the value of the physical medium and the craft process.
The project also included a Unity application that used augmented reality to add a further digital layer: selected pages became an interactive space where the physical book met animated, augmented content. Black Box explores the relationship between the analogue and the digital, and shows how technology can extend the experience of the classic book format.
